Mechanic – Juki Sewing Machines
Location – Panadura
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for pursuing a career in the apparel Industry. The ideal candidate should be an energetic, team player with an excellent communication skill, having a proactive attitude and the self-motivated individual work independently to achieve tight deadlines.
Job Role
- Perform regular maintenance and repair on Juki Sewing Machines to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and identify mechanic issues with Juki Machines and resolve them efficiently
- Conduct Machine inspections and provide routine service to prevent break downs and minimize production downtime
- Install, adjust and calibrate Juki Machines as required
- Keep records of maintenance activities, parts used and machine performance
- Work closely with the production team to ensure Machines are operating at peak efficiency
- Assist with any necessary modifications or improvements to machine functionality
- Arrange and change the Machines as per the production requirements and styles
Individual profile
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 qualification in Mechanic
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in servicing Juki Sewing Machines
- Age below 45 years
- Strong Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a Team
- Knowledge of safety standards and machine operation protocols
