Applications are invited from citizens of Sri Lanka to be considered for the undermentioned Post in the service of the Corporation.

GRADE : A-7

Post : Staff Assistant

Salary Scale : Monthly allowance of Rs. 50,000/- (all inclusive) will be paid during the training period of one year.

Nature of Appointment: Permanent (after Placement) - Grade A - 7

Rs. 105,145 - 5x1360 : 10x1695 - 128,895

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THE ABOVE POST

1.  A degree Obtained from a University/lnstitute recognized by UGC Sri Lank* in any of the following subjects/disciplines.

                  i. A three (03) years Bachelor's General Degree with Second Class upper Division

                              OR

                 ii. A four (04) years Bachelor's Special Degree with Second Class lower Division,

• Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics
• Accountancy, Financial Management or Administration
• Business Administration, Management, Economics, Marketing
• Law, Information Technology, Geography
• Naval or Maritime Affairs

2. Having a postgraduate qualification in Management / Business Administration will be an added qualification 

3. Should have a good command of English language

AGE LIMIT: Below 28 years on the closing date indicated in the advertisement

N.B.: The age limit, mentioned herein, will not be applicable only for the candidates who had faced the written test held on 07.01.2017 and the candidates who received the admission to face the examination scheduled to be held on  3.03.2018. (More details are stated in the application form). How ever, such candidate should also send fresh application form in terms of this vacancy advertisement.

COMMON REQUIREMENTS

• Should bear an excellent moral character
• Should be physically and mentally fit to handle the role and responsibilities of this position
• Should have obtained minimum qualifications and experience requirements on or before the date indicate in the advertisement.
• Should have proficiency in English and Computer literate.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Selection will be done through a written examination and structured interview.

I. A written test will be held to select candidates for this post and the test will be conducted in English medium

2. The written test comprises of two question papers and the details are as follows.

           i. Testing the fluency in English language

          ii. IQ test, test on Analytical skills, Aptitude test and test on General knowledge

TRAINING AND PLACEMENT

A training of one year will be given for me selected candidates and an all inclusive monthly allowance of Rs-50,000/- will be paid during the training period. It is compulsory that the candidates should pass the test to beheld in the end of the training period.

The candidates who successfully complete the training will be absorbed to the nerrrnnent or-vie.Corporation at Grade A - 7

FRINGE BENEFITS

After absorbing to the permanent cadre, entitle for free medical facilities including Nursing Home facilites under the Medical Assistance Scheme of the corporation, housing loan facilities, vehicle loan facilities, etc.

The corporation will contribute of the salary towards the EPF whilst the employee will have to contribute 10%. The corporation will also contribute 396 of the salary towards the ETF.

OTHER

The manual. of Procedure of the Corporation and provisions of the CPC Act are apphcable to all recruitments.
