Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. The role involves setting up machines, performing routine inspections, and following safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery according to standard procedures
- Set up machines before production runs (calibration, adjustments, etc.)
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major problems
- Maintain accurate production records and logs
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role (preferred)
- Basic mechanical skills and technical understanding
- Ability to read and interpret manuals and instructions
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights or weekends
