Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Woodworking Machinery & Electrical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and adjusting a variety of industrial woodworking machines. The ideal candidate must possess strong electrical troubleshooting skills, a solid technical background, and a hands-on approach to keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning: - Correctly set up, install, and calibrate woodworking machinery.
- Diagnostics & Repair: -Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Adjustments & Maintenance: Perform regular precision adjustments and preventative maintenance on machines (e.g., CNC routers, edgebanders, panel saw etc.)
- Electrical Work:** Execute thorough electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and component replacements safely and effectively.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working directly with industrial woodworking machinery is an added advantage.
- Electrical Expertise: Must be thorough and deeply knowledgeable in electrical work handling single/three-phase machines.
- Technical Education: Having A diploma, certificate, or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field is a must.
- Problem-Solving:- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to think logically under pressure.
- Must possess a valid Motorbike Riding License for quick commuting or field visits.
