Responsible for supervising Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) safety equipment, deals with hi-pressure cascade systems, hi-pressure loop systems, hi-pressure breathing air compressor and various makes of SCBA sets, works and escapes, at on-shore or off-shore locations.
• Perform visual inspections on the sensor/signal cables for possible physical damage that may cause system faults or intermittent alarms.
Carry out periodic inspection and calibration of installed gas detection system (GDS) like DETCON, HONEYWELL, MSA, etc TRAININGS/SEMINARS (Preferred):
o H2S Safety Equipment repair and Maintenance Course
o H2S Train the Trainer Course with SCBA Donning/Doffing
o H2S Safety Awareness Course
o BOSIET / HUET INCLUDING EBS-5095 (OPITO APPROVED)
o Cascade System and Refilling of Breathing Apparatus
o Gas Tester Course
Graduate of Electrical Technician, or E&I Technician course.
Male, not more than 40 yrs old.
3+ years in installation, commissioning of fire/gas equipment in petrochemical and oil&gas industries.
Knowledgeable in using the standard equipment for calibration such as DETCON, HONEYWELL, PEMTECH, and MSA.
Computer literate – Microsoft office
SAR 3000 -3500 based on qualifications
