We are looking for an Executive Chef to be in-charge of the hotel’s entire kitchen operation which includes; all restaurants, fine- dining and catering for banquets. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high quality food and beverage to discerning customer. The person should have proven experience in innovative local and international cuisine which appeals to an exclusive range of sophisticated palates.
The ideal candidate should possess :
- A culinary degree/diploma and/or equivalent tertiary qualification from a recognized institution
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar capacity in a local or international five star-hotel
- Proven success in menu development and proactive commitment to add value
- High standard of professional conduct with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent leadership skills, people management skills with a strong result orientation, attention to detail and ability to multi-
task - Detailed knowledge of food safety and quality systems
