                             Calling Applications for Admission of Students to Higher National Diploma (HND) Courses (Academic Year – 2026) Conducted by the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE), Ministry of Education

                             The Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE), under the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, has called applications for admission to Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes for the Academic Year 2026.

                              Candidates who have successfully completed the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination in 2025 or previous years are eligible to apply for the available HND programmes, subject to the relevant entry qualifications.

• Duration: 2 – 4 Years (Full Time & Part Time)
• Medium: English
• Course Fee: Free of Charge for Full-Time Courses

Application Process

• Apply online only through the SLIATE online application portal.
• Read the Admission Guidelines available with the online application before applying.
• Select up to 10 ATI and HND programme combinations based on your preferences.
• Pay the application fee of Rs. 1,000 via GovPay.
• Enter the Transaction Reference Number (TRN) from the payment receipt in the online application.
• Submit the online application and print the system-generated application.
• Sign the printed application and send it, together with the GovPay payment receipt, by registered post to your first preferred Advanced Technological Institute (ATI).
• Ensure your application reaches SLIATE on or before 03 August 2026.
